As the founder of "Care For Kids," her club crafts mental health-themed care packages, touching over 600 students in Hillsborough County with stress-relieving items and messages of support. Additionally, Ana serves as the mental health representative at Steinbrenner, organizing fundraisers and events like hello week to promote awareness and combat stigma. In fostering inclusivity, she leads the Spanish Honor Society, uniting Spanish-speaking students to celebrate their shared culture and heritage.
Participating in presentations with Brighter Times and Tori Leto has significantly enhanced my resilience skills as a high school senior. Alabama Allen is a senior at Steinbrenner High School, actively engaging in a multitude of clubs and organizations including Beta Club, National Honor Society (NHS), FCA, Best Buddies, Student Government, the Class of 2024, and the Student Advisory Council. Beyond her extensive extracurricular involvement, Alabama has a clear vision for her future. Following graduation, she plans to attend the University of South Florida (USF) with the goal of becoming a nurse. Majoring in Health Sciences, Alabama aims to merge her passion for healthcare with her desire to positively impact others' lives, demonstrating her commitment to contributing meaningfully to the field of nursing and beyond.
When I watched Tori present about her past struggles and how she tackled them to achieve her current successes, it really hit home for me. It made me realize that the challenges I've faced in the past shouldn't hold me back from reaching my goals.
